Research Outline
In order to utilize lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles, which are manufactured all over the world, as energy storage systems equivalent to social infrastructure, we are developing long-life operation methods by diagnosing their service life using nondestructive analysis methods such as charge-discharge profile analysis, impedance analysis, and in-situ neutron diffraction. We are also developing long-life operation methods for zinc-air batteries and aqueous pro We are also focusing on aqueous batteries such as zinc-air batteries and aqueous proton batteries, which are composed of safe, inexpensive, and resource-rich materials, and are improving their characteristics by applying in situ analysis.
