Research Outline
Based on our expertise in thermal hydraulics, we are promoting the development of next-generation energy technologies to achieve carbon neutrality. In the nuclear min, we are working on the development of small modular reactors (SMRs), which have the advantages of high safety and multipurpose use among innovative reactors, and in particular, we are conducting research and development of elemental technologies such as compact heat pipe cooling systems that achieve passive safety. In the energy storage min field, we are also promoting technological development to achieve both value enhancement and economic rationality with the aim of social implementation of thermal power storage.
