Research Outline

We are conducting research and development on thermal utilization technologies to achieve engineering feasibility and economic rationality. Thermal energy storage power generation promotes the integration of highly variable renewable energy and enables the effective use of waste heat. In this research, we are examining diverse energy utilization models that combine power generation and thermal utilization, focusing on their applicability to distributed regional demand. Based on the properties of advanced thermal storage materials and heat transfer fluids, we quantitatively evaluate the thermal-fluid behavior in each process. Our goal is to establish design guidelines for distributed energy systems that support carbon neutrality, regional revitalization, and a resource-recycling society.
