Research Outline

Development of All-Solid-State Batteries
All-solid-state batteries, which are realized by comprehensively optimizing the combination of electrode and electrolyte materials and their interface formation technology, are regarded as an ideal system of chemical-electric energy conversion devices and are highly anticipated as a future technology. Toward the realization of such a system, we have been developing materials for solid-state electrolytes.
In addition, we are developing all-solid-state batteries by actually creating prototype devices and reducing problems to elemental technologies.
