Research Outline
I specialize in research on nuclear data based on nuclear physics with high accuracy. In particular, as part of GXI research, I am working on nuclear data research that contributes to the safe design of the Chloride Molten Salt Fast Reactor, which is one of the innovative reactors and is expected to be put into practical use. The Chloride Molten Salt Fast Reactor is expected to reduce TRUs while maintaining high safety. To assure the safety of the core design, it is urgent to obtain more accurate nuclear data on related nuclear reactions than before. To address this issue, we are conducting research using MCNP and other experimental designs to obtain high-precision nuclear data on Chloride Molten Salt Reactor design, as well as conducting advanced uncertainty evaluations that take into account the relationships among physical quantities that have been overlooked in the past.
